What a proper installation includes
- Placement with enough clearance for paper loading, ventilation and service access.
- A stable power point. A surge protector or UPS is worth discussing where power is unreliable.
- Network connection by cable or Wi-Fi, with a fixed address so computers do not lose the printer.
- Drivers on each computer, and mobile printing where the machine supports it.
- Scan to email and scan to shared folder on multifunction machines.
- A short walkthrough: loading paper, clearing jams, replacing toner.
