Laser MFD or business ink tank?
Business ink tank printers such as the Canon MAXIFY GX6070 (duty cycle 45,000 prints) and Epson EcoTank M15180 and L15180 offer very low cost per page and colour. Laser-class MFDs offer higher duty cycles, faster copying, larger paper capacity and a service model built around continuous use. If your office prints all day, every day, a laser MFD is the safer choice. Compare in laser vs inkjet printers.
One big machine or several small ones?
One central MFD is cheaper per page and easier to manage. A few desktop printers near the people who print most can reduce walking and queues. Many offices settle on one A3 MFD plus one or two small printers. Read how to reduce office printing costs for the trade-offs.
